JWs and their views on Sex
by campaign of hate inin the past i have read on this forum that the wt have a say in the "bedroom" of couples.
i thought that was a bit overkill at first, but recently i have come to conclusion that this is true.. the control administered by the wt cooperation on ones sex life is not on only intrusive, its damaging.
they control every aspect of ones thought and action, thus leading most down a path that said corporation wants them to tread.. this path is to get married young, and then eternal loyalty the the organisation.. so how can an organisation force you to get married young?.

I wish I could just disappear or relocate to another country.
For my fade, I moved less than 100 miles to a city outside the old circuit and district.
Do you think its a right time to step down as a MS, Im only worried if this will make my wife overzealous , I'm happy with the way she is slacking, no Family worship , FS ....etc

Looking back, it now absolute baffles me how as a JW you have to come up with a reason to quit being a pioneer, elder, or MS. Now that I'm in the real world, when you're working and not getting paid, they appreciate anything and everything you do. If you have to quit as a volunteer, they thank you for your service and don't block the door demanding a reason like WT Corp does. Sorry, I'm on a tangent...
Does your wife have close JW friends? How does she feel about donating money to WT and the local congregation? Sometimes little things like that can give an indication of possible relapses into WT cult mode.

A big hello and thank you
by iwasblind ini just wanted to introduce myself and say a big hello to all of my mentally diseased friends.. i say friends because i have been lurking for some time so it feels like home (us lurkers are a bit scared and cautious so it takes a while).
i won't bore you with too many details, but i am a born in, currently serving as the cobe of a congregation.
my wife and i have pioneered for the last 10 years and were shaken awake by that ridiculous 15th july 2013 wt about the generation and 1914.. my wife who is much smarter than me has questioned for years.

Save your money, and save your time. Fake field serve-us and use the time for better things... like posting here!
Ugh, just your description of still attending and feeling the frustration of being surrounded by people that are Asleep! in the false brought back my own memories of wanting to just shake JWs and make them wake up. But alas, they are still wasting their time and money on the cult.

While it is the plan to get every last cent from every child, things like this tend to be quickly forgotten by the sheeple. That's been my experience in 3 different congregations. You might be able to muster some high contributions a few months, but it would invariably drop off. But I've never been in a "rich congregation". Most of the dubs I knew made very little money and were already spending more than they were making. Few of the JW kids had any kind of part time jobs to make their own money because the cult demanded their evenings and weekends when most kids I grew up with were picking up some work.

It sounds like you're already off to a wonderful start!
My wife tells me that we have to "help" him. That she has seen that he prefers friends outside the congregation, that those kids are bad association and that someday I will regret it if he leaves the truth.
If this is an issue that you feel needs a response, I'd suggest something like, "He's getting older. We can't just put him in a playpen anymore to keep him safe from the world. Our effort is better spent to give him a good foundation in love, morals, and ethics. If we try to control his every movement we'll just exhaust ourselves and build a huge amount of resentment in him such that when he turns 18 he'll run out the door into a world that he's completely unprepared for. [insert an example, if you know any JW kids that left their controlling parents at an early age] He's got to learn how to interact with people that aren't JWs because we want him to get a job and support himself. We can't afford to support our grown children. [such as in the society videos where the engineer dad seemed to make enough money that he was unconcerned with how his nearly adult children would support themselves or have friends outside their immediate family, or the video where the dad had a construction business and the sons both worked for him.]"

...many high school students start applying for and receiving scholarships...
No mention of him applying for a scholarship, but it's typical WT to have these stories of being offered scholarships with no mention of applying for them or taking college entrance exams. I received a helpful scholarship, but it was only after I'd already applied and was accepted to university.
